How it works
You pay once, at checkout, for both the artist service and the print. The artist starts from your brief after the order is placed.

Share your idea and choose your print
Describe what you want, add reference photos, then pick canvas or poster, the finish and the size. Add it to your cart and pay at checkout.

Review the artwork and request your included changes
The artist emails you a draft. Design takes at least a week, depending on the request. Send back changes, up to the rounds in your service.

Approve it for printing
Once you sign off, we print it in-house, about a week. Shipping options and times are shown at checkout.
What it costs
Two parts, both paid at checkout: the artist service, and the canvas or poster it’s printed on.
Artist service
Priced by how much is in the artwork and how many rounds of changes you want. The base service covers up to five elements with three revision rounds.

- Each separate thing the artist has to draw: a person, a pet, a car, a logo, a line of text.
- Revision rounds
- One round is one set of changes you send back after seeing a draft. You approve the final artwork before anything is printed.

Good to know
What does the price include?
Two things. The artist service covers the drawing, the revision rounds in the tier you pick, and the final print-ready artwork. The print is the canvas or poster in the size and finish you choose. Shipping and taxes are added at checkout.
What references do I need?
At least one image. Clear photos of the people, pets or things you want drawn, plus anything that shows the style you like. Screenshots are fine. Up to five files, 10 MB each. If a file is larger, order first and email it to info@urbancustomz.com.
How do revisions work?
After the artist shares the first draft, you send back the changes you want. Each set of changes is one round. The base service includes three rounds; choose five to eight if you expect more back-and-forth. Once you approve, it goes to print.
How long does it take?
Design takes at least one week from your order, depending on what you ask for, and how quickly you review each draft. Production takes about another week after you approve the artwork. Shipping time is extra and outside our control; options and estimates are shown at checkout.
Can I have it by a specific date?
Yes. Choose “I need it by a date” in the form and a $60 requested-date fee is added to your cart. Allow at least one week for design and about one for production, with shipping on top. The date is not guaranteed when delays are on your side, such as late approvals, changes after approval or missing references, and shipping delays are outside our control.
What can I have it printed on?
Canvas, stretched on a wood frame or rolled, in sizes from 9 × 12 to 48 × 96 inches. Or a poster, rolled or framed in black or white, from 12 × 16 to 24 × 36 inches. To put your own finished design on a garment, use Custom apparel instead.
When do I pay?
At checkout, when you add the commission to your cart. The artist service and the print appear as two items in the same order. Work starts after the order is placed.
Can I return a commissioned piece?
Commissioned artwork is made to your specifications, so it can’t be returned or exchanged. If there’s a flaw caused by us, we replace it. See the refund policy.
My idea doesn’t fit these options. What now?
If it needs more than 50 elements, a different product, or something we can’t price here, contact us with your idea and references and we’ll get back to you.
