Ways to use custom wall art
The pier at sunrise, the escarpment in October, a new home in Alton Village, a dental office that wants calm walls. Send the photo and the wall measurements, or describe the piece you have in mind.
Pier and waterfront photos
The Brant Street pier, the bay or the lift bridge, enlarged on gallery canvas.
Escarpment and trail shots
Mount Nemo, the Bruce Trail or Waterdown's falls, printed big for the living room.
Offices and clinics
Calm large-format pieces for reception and treatment rooms, quoted as one job.
Restaurants and shops
Art in your brand colours, ordered together with signage from the Burlington printing hub.
Gifts for the family
A framed poster of the wedding, the cottage or the grandparents' street.
Illustrated portraits
Pets, parents and the whole family drawn from your photos and approved before it prints.
Wall art for an office, studio or restaurant
A set of canvases sized for one wall, or one large piece behind reception. For anything multi-piece, a quote is faster than ordering one at a time.
What we come back with
- A wall, not a product listSend the measurements and the idea. We come back with a layout, sizes and a price for the set.
- Artwork created if it does not existOur artists work from your references and brief.
- Proof before printingYou approve the design and the price before anything is produced.
Production and delivery
Tracked courier to Burlington, with the tracking number emailed when your order leaves. Larger canvases ship with a rear brace bar for support.
Production
Canvas and posters usually take a few days: the print cures, then the canvas is stretched over its frame and checked.

What can you print my photo or artwork on?
Stretched canvas: printed on 380 gsm artist-grade canvas with a semi-gloss finish and UV-resistant inks, hand-stretched over a 1.5-inch Canadian wood frame, and delivered ready to hang. Choose rectangle or square in 23 sizes from 9 x 12 up to 48 x 96 inches, or order the print rolled and stretch it yourself.
Posters: printed on paper in 12 x 16, 16 x 20, 20 x 28 or 24 x 36 inches, either rolled or mounted in a black or white frame.
Both are made to order from the photo or artwork you upload in the designer.
What is the difference between a stretched canvas and a framed poster?
A stretched canvas is printed on 380 gsm artist-grade canvas and hand-stretched over a 1.5-inch Canadian wood frame with a gallery wrap, so the image continues around the edges and it hangs with no frame around it. Sizes run from 9 x 12 to 48 x 96 inches, and larger sizes include a rear brace bar.
A poster is printed on paper and comes rolled, or mounted in a black or white frame, in 12 x 16, 16 x 20, 20 x 28 or 24 x 36 inches. Choose canvas for a gallery look and depth; choose a framed poster for a crisp, flat print with a visible border.
How good does my photo need to be?
Better than you think for a large canvas, and usually fine for a small one. A photo straight off a recent phone is generally good for the common sizes; heavily cropped, screenshotted or social-media-compressed images start to show at larger sizes.
Upload it and we will look at it. If it is going to print soft at the size you picked, we tell you before we print it, and either suggest a smaller size or ask for the original file.
What is the resin finish?
An optional add-on for canvas: an epoxy coating over the print that gives a high-gloss, glass-like surface and makes colours look richer and deeper. It is available clear, or with glitter through it.
It is chosen as an add-on alongside your canvas order. If you prefer the standard semi-gloss canvas finish, simply leave it off.
How long does a canvas take?
Canvas and posters usually take a few days to produce: the print cures, then the canvas is stretched over its frame and checked. It then ships by tracked courier, and you receive the tracking number by email.
If you are ordering for a date, such as a wedding or an office opening, say so when you order or in your quote request and we will confirm whether it is achievable. Faster options are sometimes available for a fee.
Which is better for a gift, a canvas or a framed poster?
A stretched canvas arrives ready to hang with the image wrapped around the edges, which suits photos and artwork you want to feel like a gallery piece. A framed poster, in a black or white frame, gives a crisp flat print with a visible border and suits graphic designs, typography and prints with a lot of fine detail. Both are made to order from the file you upload.
